Ace earnings fall on higher sales

Ace Hardware Corp. reported record Q2 revenues of $2.5 billion. That was an increase of $187.8 million, or 8.2 percent, from the comparable period of 2020. Net income was $116 million, down $22.9 million from a year earlier. Among U.S. Ace dealers who share daily retail sales data, same-store sales rose 1.2 percent.
