Ace Hardware names new head of Emery Jensen

OAK BROOK, Ill. — Ace Hardware Corp. announced it has promoted Alison Dowell, currently VP of Operations, to the role of president and general manager of Emery Jensen Distribution, a division of Ace Wholesale Holdings LLC. In addition to marketing and commercial strategies, Dowell’s role will focus on broadening distribution and furthering Emery Jensen Distribution’s geographic expansion. She will report to Ace Chief Merchandising and Sales Officer John Surane. Since joining Ace Hardware as VP of operations in 2017, Dowell has been responsible for supporting sales, customer experience, merchandising, supply chain and back office activities. Previously, she led merchandising for The Home Depot Pro.
