SEATTLE — Amazon will open its second fulfillment centre in Ottawa, with an anticipated opening date some time in 2021. The warehouse will be Amazon’s eighth in Ontario and 14th overall in Canada. “We’re thrilled to be opening a second fulfillment centre in the nation’s capital to better serve communities across Ontario,” Sumegha Kumar, director of Canadian customer fulfillment operations, said in a release. The e-retail giant is also planning to open five new delivery stations across Ontario this year in Whitby, Oakville, Cambridge, Brampton and Toronto (Scarborough).
