Amazon union drive sets sights on Hamilton

Teamsters local 879 has brought the campaign to organize Amazon workers to the e-retail giant’s Hamilton, Ont., robotics warehouse. “We have gotten some calls from Amazon workers to do with the conditions inside, how they’re being treated,” organizer Jim Killey told CBC News. “When they call, we come.” The facility opened less than a month ago. Amazon has plans for three more Ontario warehouses in 2023.
