At Home Hardware: changes to merch & marketing teams

ST. JACOBS, Ont. — Home Hardware Stores has made some changes to its merchandise management and marketing teams. Jim Solomon had been named Merchandise Manager of Household and Commercial Cleaning, reporting to Brian Straus, Group Merchandise Manager. Previously, Solomon was Merchandise Manager of Automotive and Sporting Goods. Jason Boshart is the new Merchandise Manager for Automotive and Sporting Goods. He also reports to Straus. Boshart joined Home Hardware in 2007. He is now responsible for selecting and managing automotive and sporting product lines to service Home’s 1,000-plus stores across Canada.

In marketing, Alex Goyette has been promoted to the role of Commercial Sales Marketing Manager, reporting to Rob Wallace, Director of Marketing. A 14-year veteran of the company, Goyette was previously the Commercial Sales Program Co-ordinator in Merchandise.
