BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Groupe BMR unveiled its much-awaited urban hardware store concept yesterday. Called La Shop BMR, the first location is in Montreal’s hip Griffintown neighbourhood.
The store has been carefully designed to provide products and services within a small retail footprint, one that would be viable in the high-rent locations of major downtowns.
At the new Griffintown location, for example, customers will be able to buy small home appliances and kitchen accessories, premium pet food, bicycle accessories, and storage products. This new store type will also offer home handyman services.
