Calgary RONA big box converting to Lowe’s

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Lowe’s Canada has announced that its Calgary RONA Home and Garden store will convert to the Lowe’s banner at the end of a four-month transformation begun this week and due to be completed by the fall. The new MacLeod Lowe’s will feature 124,000 square feet of retail sales space, an adjacent garden centre of 14,000 square feet, as well as an 8,000-square-foot drive-through outdoor lumber yard. In line with the Lowe’s store model, the revamped store will feature an expanded product mix and a focus on contractor business.
