Canadian Tire Corp. has been named one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations by Corporate Knights for the third time.
The company placed first among general merchandisers and firms headquartered in Canada. The designation recognizes CTC’s sustainability efforts, which centre around four areas: sustainable products, energy efficiency, reducing resource use, and reducing waste.
Corporate Knights, a media and research firm that describes itself as “the voice of clean capitalism”, has compiled the rankings for 18 years.
