Canfor earnings slide in Q2

Canfor Corp. has reported Q2 net income of $373.8-million, down from $726.9-million a year earlier. Sales of $2.17-billion were down $2.5-billion from Q2 of 2021. Results in the lumber segment decreased $230.9-million quarter-over-quarter, reflecting a significant downward correction in benchmark prices.
