VANCOUVER ― CanWel Building Materials announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange has accepted its notice of intention to proceed with a normal course issuer bid. The forestry firm intends to purchase for cancellation up to 5,995,340 of its common shares but no purchases are guaranteed. Any shares CanWel does buy back will be at the market rate at the time of the transaction.
