HALIFAX — The ABSDA gave out industry awards at its industry gala last evening. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Duncan Wilson (shown here with ABSDA President Denis Melanson and Chair Bill Abbott). Currently director of business development for Home Hardware Stores Ltd., Wilson’s career spans 46 years and a range of retail companies in the industry. Lifetime Member Awards were given to Brian Warr, a former Castle dealer in Springdale, NL, and to Greg Sutherland, who worked at CanWel from 1975 until his retirement two years ago.
