Hardware merchant named eBay Canada Entrepreneur of the Year

TORONTO ― The winners of eBay Canada’s 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year awards were unveiled this week, with the titular category going to Nan Xu of Investments Hardware Ltd. Canada. Xu joined the Woodbridge, Ont., family-owned business in 2014 and quickly set about redesigning and expanding its eBay store to tap into export growth. Today, IHL operates in a 160,000-square-foot warehouse complemented by a 4,000-square-foot showroom for local clientele. The eBay business is on track to triple in size this year and now offers the largest selection of tools and workshop equipment in Canada.
