TORONTO — Hudson’s Bay Co. has announced the departure of the head of its international business. Don Watros will leave the company at the end of next month; a replacement has not been named. Watros has spent 11 years with Canada’s oldest company, most recently as chief operating officer. He oversaw HBC’s European entry with the acquisition of German department store chain Galeria Kaufhof in 2015. Watros’s exit follows on that of CFO Paul Beesley in the spring. Last week, the company named former J.C. Penney Co. executive Edward Record to succeed him.
