ATLANTA — The Home Depot announced it has closed a deal with Pennsylvania-based Hanover Direct to acquire The Company Store, an online vendor of home decor and textile products. The deal, which excludes The Company Store’s five physical stores, bolsters Home Depot’s online presence and its control over its supply chain. The terms of the agreement have not been made public. Founded by Scandinavian immigrants in 1911, The Company Store is based in La Crosse, Wis.
