ST. JACOBS, Ont. — Dan Moulton, dealer-owner of Hanover and Alliston Home Hardware Building Centres in Ontario, has been recognized as 2016 North American Young Retailer of the Year by the North American Retail Hardware Association. The award recognizes excellence among independent home improvement retailers 35 years and younger. Recipients are selected based on their professional achievements, community involvement and hardware industry education. Dan was the only Canadian recognized for this achievement.
Dan and his wife, Emily, were just 24 years old when they purchased Hanover Home Hardware Building Centre in 2012. Three years later they acquired an 80% share in Alliston Home Hardware Building Centre.
