Home Hardware marks openings

Barnes Magasin Général PictureST. JACOBS, Ont. — Home Hardware is celebrating several openings and re-openings this weekend. Whitehorse Home Hardware Building Centre, in the Yukon capital, is officially re-opening its doors to the community after renovations. The store has increased its retail surface by 25% to become one of the largest Home Hardwares in Canada.

In Ontario, Westgate Village Home Hardware in Cambridge and Grand Valley Home Hardware near Orangeville are re-opening, the former following renovations and the latter under new management. Earlier in the week, Barnes Magasin Général celebrated a grand opening (pictured) after relocating to larger premises in Knowlton, Que., with Mayor Richard Burcombe and local councillors in attendance.
