Sales of existing Canadian homes declined by 5.8 percent month-over-month in December, according to the Canadian Real Estate Association. Actual (not seasonally adjusted) monthly activity came in 19.2 percent above December 2023. The number of newly listed properties dipped by 1.7 percent month-over-month.
