Canadian sales of existing homes were little changed between July and August 2021, according to new data from the Canadian Real Estate Association. On a month-to-month basis, sales edged down by 0.5 percent. The actual (not seasonally adjusted) activity was down 14 percent on a year-over-year basis. The month was nevertheless the second-best August on record.
