Home resales set annual record

Sales of existing homes in Canada have already set a new annual record in 2021, according to new data from the Canadian Real Estate Association. Sales were up 8.6 percent between September and October 2021, marking the largest month-over-month increase since July 2020. Actual (not seasonally adjusted) monthly activity was down 11.5 percent on a year-over-year basis.
