MONTREAL — Intertape Polymer Group announced it has reached a deal to acquire Nortech Packaging for approximately $36.5 million. The privately held, Chicago-based Nortech manufactures, assembles and services automated packaging machines under the Nortech Packaging and Tishma Technologies brands. Its global clientele crosses industries including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, e-commerce, confections and personal care and cosmetics. The acquisition is expected during the present fiscal quarter.
