The Ledcor Group of Companies said this week it has appointed Russell Zirnhelt to head up its Canadian Building Construction division and as EVP of construction. Peter Hrdlitschka, the division’s long-time president, will begin his retirement while continuing to support the division as senior advisor.
“Russell is a strong advocate for innovation, sustainability, new technologies, and inclusion and diversity initiatives,” Tom Lassu, president of Ledcor Industries, said in a release. “His insight and forward-thinking approach will help us continually enhance and expand our market leadership with safety, quality, and efficiency always at the forefront.” Zirnhelt joined Ledcor in 2010 and was most recently chief business officer for Ledcor Building Construction.
