Loblaws posts Q3 gains

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Loblaw Cos. Ltd. reported Q3 revenues of $15.7 billion. Compared to the third quarter of 2019, this represented an increase of $1.02 billion or 6.9 percent. Retail segment sales were $15.46 million, an increase of $1.04 billion or 7.2 percent. Net earnings of $342 million marked an increase of $11 million or 3.3 percent. Operating income rose by 4.1 percent to $718 million.
