Lowe’s Canada, Lee Valley among Canada’s top employers

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Lowe’s Canada has been selected one of Canada’s 2020 Best Employers according to the most recent Forbes survey, placing second for best employer among Canada’s home improvement retailers and at number 152 overall. Forbes’ list, which is compiled by electronically surveying 8,000 Canadians working part-time or full-time for businesses with more than 500 employees across the country, ranks employers that stand out in terms of employment in Canada. Also making the list were Home Hardware at number 114, Lee Valley Tools at 172, Calgary Co-op at 190, Home Depot at 236, Canadian Tire at 255, and West Fraser Timber at 126.
