Igor Halencak promoted at Lowe’s Canada

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. —Lowe’s Canada has announced the appointment of Igor Halencak as senior vice-president for central merchandising and global sourcing. Halencak will oversee the implementation of merchandising best practices across Lowe’s Canada’s banners, and supporting divisional merchandising teams.

The new structure will also simplify vendor relationship management by offering a single contact point for vendors supplying more than one of the company’s banners. Halencak joined Lowe’s Canada in 2013 as head of big box merchandising and marketing. Most recently he was VP of central merchandising, procurement, and global sourcing.
