Lowe’s Cos. this week announced Q4 earnings of $1.21 billion, or $1.78 per share, up from $978 million ($1.32 per share) a year earlier. Sales rose to $21.34 billion from $20.31 billion in the comparable period of 2020. U.S. same-store sales grew by 5.1 percent. For fiscal 2021, the company reported earnings of $8.4 billion on sales of $96.3 billion, up from $5.8 billion and $89.6 billion respectively.
