Lowe’s Cos. made several changes this week to its top leadership which it says are designed “to improve alignment across the business and position Lowe’s for success”. Chief marketing officer Marisa Thalberg is departing from the company. Her position has been eliminated, with the marketing team to report now to Bill Boltz, EVP of merchandising.
Instead of filling Thalberg’s role, the company has promoted Jen Wilson to the position of SVP, enterprise brand and marketing. She will report to Boltz. Meanwhile, the e-commerce team, which had been under Boltz, has been transferred to the tech side of the company. Mike Shady, SVP of online, will now report to chief information officer Seemantini Godbole.
