Manitoba’s planned economic reopening to include retailers

WINNIPEG — Manitoba’s government has unveiled the phases of its timeline to reactivate the province’s economy. “Today is good news, and it’s good news because of you,” Premier Brian Pallister declared yesterday. In Phase 1, set to begin on May 4, some non-essential business will reopen, albeit with precautions in place. The categories include retail stores and restaurant patios.
