CANORA, Sask. — The new owners of Home Hardware (Canora) are Graham and Sam Profit, who have taken the reins from Graham’s father, Kris. Sam has assumed primary responsibility for managing the store, which been in the Profit family since 1994. Graham is staying at home to care for their daughter, who was born in October, but will be available to help when needed. “I’m a journeyman licensed electrician, and I also have plumbing experience,” he explained to the Canora Courier. Illinois-raised Sam came to Canada to pursue university studies in B.C. “My retail experience includes working at Fabric and Craft stores in the U.S.,” she said. The Profits are making no changes to their staff team. “Kris trusted them,” said Sam. “They’re good people who know what they’re doing.”
