MADISON, Wis. — Spectrum Brands is gearing up for a swift transition to its new facility in Dayton, Ohio, according to the Dayton Business Journal. The production lines are slated to be running by January 9, just a few months after construction began. Ken Burns, VP Supply Chain for the group’s Global Auto Care business, is spending the next few weeks in Dayton supervising the finishing touches before operations go live at the 600,000-square-foot facility. The new plant will centralize functions currently spread across the U.S.
