The Retail Council of Canada has rolled out its Retail Pulse Dashboard, an online data tool the organization describes as a “first-stop temperature check” for Canadian retail. Developed with consultancy KPMG, it offers a range of nearly real-time data aggregated from sources such as Statistics Canada and Environics Analytics. Topics include provincial sales breakdowns, employment stats, and credit and debit card spending.
