Scotts invests in cannabis market

MARYSVILLE, Ohio — Scotts Miracle Grow is paying a lot of attention to the cannabis market. It has a marijuana-focused soils brand, Black Magic, which is sold through SMG’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Hawthorne Gardening along with other products and supplies for growing marijuana. This is one of SMG’s fastest growing businesses. It also has a hydroponics division, General Hydroponics, which sells hydroponic cultivation systems and supplies.
