COLOGNE — Spoga + gafa, the world’s largest garden trade fair, will go ahead September 6-8 in Cologne, its organizers say. In a letter to exhibitors and visitors, Director Stefan Lohrberg and Catja Caspary, VP of trade fair management, note that they received concerned queries as events like the Munich Beer Festival announced cancellations. “As a trade fair with a B2B orientation and its expected density of visitors, spoga+gafa fundamentally distinguishes itself from sports events and folk festivals,” they wrote. Still, the organizers will revisit their plans if large numbers of exhibitors cannot attend and will provide refunds in the event of a cancellation.
