WINNIPEG — Sexton Group has announced the appointment of Tom Bell as Business Development Manager, Western Canada. In his new position, Bell “will work to identify and develop strategic partnerships and generate growth opportunities in our member and vendor communities,”the company said in a release. Bell has 30 years of experience in the Canadian building products industry in wholesale, distribution, buying group, and retail, most recently as an independent retailer with Jeni’s Food and Hardware in LaSalle, Man. Prior to opening his own business he held a variety of positions in the industry, including at MacMillan Bloedel and North American Lumber.
