Tractor Supply Co. said this week its Q1 sales rose 42.5 percent to $2.79 billion, compared to $1.96 billion in the previous Q1. Comparable store sales increased 38.6 percent, a gain that dwarfed the 4.3 percent reported a year ago. Net income soared by 116.5 percent to $181.4 million from $83.8 million in 2020, while diluted earnings of $1.55 per share were up 118.3 percent from $0.71.
