U.S. retail stalled in February

WASHINGTON — U.S. retail sales saw their smallest growth in six months during February as consumer spending moderated. The increase of 0.1% followed two consecutive months of large gains. Electronics and appliance sales declined 2.8%, while changes to U.S. tax law affecting the timing of tax refunds could also have affected the numbers.
