BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart-owned Jet.com announced its acquisition of footware retailer ShoeBuy, expanding its parents e-retail profile. Under the deal, which closed on December 30, ShoeBuy will maintain its Boston-based operations, and will remain a stand-alone site, while suppliers will have the option of selling directly on Jet.com as well.
