BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart is removing firearms and ammunition from display in U.S. stores, the Wall Street Journal reports. The products will still be available to customers on request. The company wrote to store letters this week asking for the removal “due to the current unrest in isolated areas of the country and out of an abundance of caution.” It made a similar move in the summer following the slaying of George Floyd.
