BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Lowe’s announced the addition of Matériaux St-Étienne in Lévis, Que., to the network of independent affiliate dealers under the RONA banner. The former Castle member, which includes 9,000 square feet of retail space and a 200,000-square-foot lumberyard, officially reopened under the RONA banner in mid-April. All 32 of its staff remained in place. “Our change of banner was mainly motivated by our desire to partner with a major player to continue developing our market.” said Amaury Sauer, who co-owns RONA Matériaux St-Étienne with Hélène Stichelbout. “This decision is in line with our strategy focused on profitability and growth.”
