CHARLOTTETOWN — The former Sherwood BMR is now Sherwood TIMBER MART, after owner Duncan Shaw’s business, Sherwood Building Supplies, filed for bankruptcy. Jillian Sexton, who got her start at 15 in her father’s Stellarton, N.S., store, has taken the helm. Sexton has spent the past seven years as chief operating officer of the two Hector Building Supplies stores in Stellarton and Pictou, N.S. She is leading a staff of 18, all carried over from the store’s BMR incarnation.
