Giant Tiger opens in Brampton

OTTAWA — Giant Tiger celebrated the grand opening of a new 23,500-square-foot store in Brampton, Ont., over the weekend. The day included free activities for customers of all ages, including a charity BBQ, strolling entertainment, free face painting, promotional and gift card giveaways, and of course, a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger. To mark the occasion, the chain and store manager Marco Costa are making a charitable donation to the Peel Children’s Aid Foundation.
