MONTREAL — McGill University’s Bensadoun School of Retail Management will admit its first students for this fall, a year after receiving a $25 million donation for the purpose from shoe magnate Aldo Bensadoun. McGill’s senate gave official approval late last month for the program, which will allow students to pursue retail management concentration within the existing Bachelor of Commerce degree. Post-graduate offerings are also in the works. The school will partner with retailers to offer internships to students, while retail partners will be able to test new products and technologies in an on-campus retail lab.
