OTTAWA — Following two months of weak growth, wholesale sales increased 1.4% to $50.5 billion in October. Higher sales were reported in five of seven sub-sectors, representing over 70% of wholesale sales. The building material and supplies sub-sector (+1.0%) posted a fourth consecutive monthly gain. In volume terms, overall wholesale sales were up 1.2%
