NEW BRITAIN, Conn. ― Stanley Black & Decker reports its net income for the first quarter came to $169.9 million, or $1.13 per share. The results were better than analyst expectations of $1.10 per share. Revenues for the quarter $3.33 billion, likewise beating the $3.31 billion forecast by analysts in a Zacks survey. The tool maker set its earnings guidance for the full year in the range of $8.50 and $8.70 per share.
