VANCOUVER ― Acadian Timber Corp. said this week it generated sales of $25.4 million in the third quarter, compared to $26.6 million in the prior year period. Operating costs and expenses were $20.6 million during the third quarter, compared to $21.2 million in 2018. The net loss of $10.9 million, or $0.65 per share, was $16.8 million below the previous third quarter’s income of $5.9 million, or $0.36 per share. The quarter also saw Brookfield Asset Management sell its interest in Acadian to Macer Forest Holdings Inc.
