KING CITY, Ont. ― The 2019 Hardlines Conference is underway at the Kingbridge Conference Centre & Hotel, not far from Toronto International Airport. Last night, the winners of tonight’s Outstanding Retailer Awards rubbed shoulders with conference sponsors at an informal Pub Night sponsored by Lowe’s Canada in the name of RONA. The Conference continues today with speakers, including Home Hardware Chair Christine Hand and Altus Group’s Peter Norman, who will give a spirited update on the state of the economy. The day will culminate in a reception sponsored by Home Hardware before this evening’s Outstanding Retailer Awards gala. Watch for full Conference coverage in an upcoming edition of Hardlines!
