VAUGHAN, Ont. ― TIMBER MART announced that Morin Bros. Building Supplies in Ottawa will join the buying group on January 1. “A number of American-based businesses are buying into our Canadian market share,” said co-owner Gérald Morin, “and we felt we needed to join forces with TIMBER MART to be better recognized by manufacturers and truly compete.” Gérald and his brothers Claude and Daniel opened the business in 1986. Today, with their 60-strong team of staff, they serve a variety of contractor customers on a site that includes 33,500 square feet of warehouse space and 7,300 square feet of retail space and offices.
