ATLANTA ― The world’s largest home improvement retailer saw sales dip slightly in the fourth quarter, down 2.7 percent, due in part to an extra week of operations in the previous year compared to fiscal 2019. Net earnings, however, showed a healthy gain, reaching $2.5 billion, up 5.8 percent over Q4 2018.
Sales for fiscal 2019 were $110.2 billion, up 1.9 percent over fiscal 2018. Net earnings reached $11.2 billion, up 1.1 percent. Comparable sales for fiscal 2019 increased 3.5 percent.
