QUEBEC CITY — Home construction and renovation projects that had been shelved until July 31 got the green light to resume this week in Quebec. The province’s construction workers’ union and its home builders’ association as well as the labour ministry said they will inspect work sites to ensure precautions are being taken, including respect for physical distancing and use of protective equipment. Home construction was added to Quebec’s list of essential business sectors last week.
