Ontario hardware, garden retailers poised to open

TORONTO — Ontario’s garden centres and nurseries will be permitted to open to in-store customers after midnight tonight, Premier Doug Ford announced yesterday with members of his cabinet. Hardware stores and retailers of safety equipment will follow 24 hours later. All other retailers with a direct street entrance will be permitted to offer curbside pickup and delivery from 12:01 a.m. on Monday. All businesses remain subject to physical distancing, sanitizing and other public health protocols.
