Sherwin-Williams profits, revenue beat estimates

CLEVELAND — Sherwin-Williams Co. reported Q2 earnings of $7.10 per share, up from $6.57 in the comparable quarter last year and above an analyst forecast of $5.67. Sales declined by 5.6 percent to $4.6 billion, topping estimates of $4.53 billion. Same-store sales in the U.S. and Canada were down by 6.9 percent.
